Amanda Brugel

Pointe Claire, a quiet neighborhood situated in the West Island of Montreal is what you might call a "sleepy" area. This part of Montreal is known as the West Island has a lot of communities. For those who haven't been aware of it frequently mistake it for a separate island facing west. Amanda Brugel grew up on the island and is frequently known as the place where she was born. It is true that she stayed there for a short period of time. Brugel developed on Courtice just outside Oshawa in Ontario. At the beginning of her life she hoped to become a performer but an unexpected growth spurt made it impossible. The Toronto Star article revealed she's 6ft 1in tall in heels. As I got bigger than my male counterparts, I gave up. Dancers who have been in the past often switch to acting and in the case of Brugel, it was the result of a recommendation by her drama teacher. She was a teacher at the time who advised her to take on a part in the annual school production. After trying out her options, she was eventually the main character in Anne of Green Gables. She was given the Fine Arts Talent Scholarship to go to York University's Theatre Program which she completed at the age of 20 with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts. In the last 20 years, the roles played by Brugel on TV and the big screen have been numerous. Her role as Rita from the award winning series The Handmaid's Tale was her most notable. Brugel made an appearance on only a handful of moments in the very first season of the show The Handmaid's Tale. The only Canadian actor.
