Bruckner was a Hollywood Californian, being born of Hungarian parents as well as Russian mothers, who divorced. Her paternal grandmother was German. She was born in the city of Hollywood, California, to a Hungarian father as well as a mother from Russia. Her grandfather was paternal, who had been german until recently, has since been divorced. Her siblings are two sisters and one brother.
