Christopher Peter Meloni is an American actor who is well-known for his roles in well-known TV series Law & Order Special Victims Unit. The actor discovered his fascination for acting while in college and studied acting in The University of Colorado at Boulder. He's appeared in the television and film industry, but it was his smaller-screen roles that earned him fame as well as a large fan base. He's able to seamlessly play characters who are from both sides of legal system and draw the public's interest. He was the voice of the serial killer in his very first series on television but later went on to portray the character as an NYPD detective. He's been nominated numerous times for the prestigious Emmy Awards and the PRISM Awards for his tiny screen appearances. The piercing, blue eyes which have been said to make him appear attractive. They have helped to depict rough characters in an attractive manner. He was listed in People's magazine's list of Sexiest Men Alive in 2006.
